Owner Brennan Branca, has thought through it all. From every ingredient in every superfood smoothie, to the lighting in the café, to the art that hangs on the wall, to the menu board, all the way to the bathroom sign. There isn’t a single detail that has not been carefully considered.
Originally born in California, Brennan moved to the east coast where he attended Darien High School, where he was recruited to play division I soccer at Columbia University, winning an Ivy League Championship in 2016. Needless to say, for an athlete of this caliber, eating healthily was essential. But compromising taste for healthy eating was not an option for him.
“I have been interested in health and wellness my whole life. I was frustrated with the state of the juice bar industry. I saw a void in the juice bar industry that I wanted to fill. Especially out on the east coast, I have noticed that juice bars fall into two primary categories. On the one hand you have great tasting places, however when you take a deep dive into their menus and ingredients, you find that their items are laden with sugar, added chemicals and preservatives, and the ingredients end up not being healthy at all. On the other hand, you have truly healthy Plant-based places that are good for you but taste like sandy cardboard and their menu items really lacked flavor. This was very frustrating for me. I really wanted to create a place where premium quality ingredients meet premium quality taste. I wanted to create a place where people could eat everyday and know they doing something great for their bodies by putting the highest quality ingredients in their bodies.”
BARVIDA is 100% Organic and 100% Plant- Based. Ingredients are sourced from all over the world to ensure that menu items are the cleanest and healthiest they can possibly be. Their menu has been meticulously created by teams of nutritionists and professional athletes. No cutting corners or compromising results! They took the time to create not only a delicious menu, but one that is truly healthy!
And there’s more. BARVIDA is very eco-friendly. Only reusable glass bottles and plant-based packaging are used. In fact, as soon as more covid restrictions are lifted, they will be implementing their reusable bottle program where people can return their glass bottles for an additional % off their next drink!
