In A New Light – The Heart of Our Collection, New Exhibit at Museum of Darien

Museum of Darien is delighted to present a new exhibit, In A New Light – The Heart of Our Collection. The exhibition of 30 paintings includes landscapes, portraits and florals by twelve turn of the century artists who lived and worked in Darien. Most received formal training either abroad in Italy or Paris or stateside at Boston School of Fine Arts, Chicago Art Institute or with notable American Impressionists. A few became nationally acclaimed while participating in Darien’s Guild of the Seven Arts and teaching locally. The exhibit is open through May 26th, with visiting hours on Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 11am-4pm. Admission to the exhibit and museum is $5.
