As the stars twinkle above and bonfires provide warmth, “Fireside” offers attendees the opportunity to support the Darien Nature Center’s mission: to inspire passion and respect for the natural world. By indulging in an evening of camaraderie and cheer, guests also make a significant and empowering contribution to programs designed to inspire all generations through nature education, environmental action, and stewardship.
Tickets are $175 for the general public, and $150 for current members of the Darien Nature Center. Sponsorship opportunities are available for those unable to attend in person. A compelling silent auction and raffle prizes–including priority registration for the center’s sought-after children’s programming–will further allow guests to be able to be an integral part of the DNC’s mission.

-Care for our 22 species of animals
-Create captivating programs for adults, children, and families
-Bring climate change and sustainability curriculum to Darien schools
-Outreach to underserved communities
-Maintain our building, keep it free and open to the public six days a week
The Darien Nature Center is a renowned non-profit organization that emerged from the dedication and vision of local citizens who sought to celebrate the splendor of our natural environment. Its journey, spanning nearly half a century, has transformed the DNC into a vibrant community center offering robust educational programs, diverse live animals, captivating seasonal exhibits, and enlightening lectures.
