YWCA Darien/Norwalk’s Parent Awareness Presents “Understanding Teenage Disordered Eating & Poor Body Image”

Stamford University Hospital health educator Jackie Owens will lead a confidential discussion on the impacts of disordered eating behaviors and poor body image on teen health. This talk will help parents and teens understand the risk factors associated with various types of disordered eating, along with short and long term impacts. She will also cover tools and treatment options for those who might be struggling. We welcome you and your teenager to join us.
