Introduction to QuickBooks at Darien Library

Calling all moms, entrepreneurs, college students, or anyone interested in learning QuickBooks 2018, the recognized small business accounting system! You cannot manage a business without an accounting system, so you will not want to miss this class! QuickBooks provides options for you to use to record common business transactions. At the completion of this two hour course students will:
Learn important decisions that must be made before purchasing QuickBooks
Learn how to setup a business which would include: chart of accounts, and setting up an item list
Learn how to set up a vendors, and learn how to track your payables
Learn how to set up customers, and how to track your receivables
Discuss alternate ways to report employee information
Discuss various types of reports you can get out of QuickBooks such as vendor and customer reports
About the Instructor
Judy Puchalski is an adjunct professor at Norwalk Community College teaching students in applications software. She has had extensive experience using and teaching all of the Microsoft products. She is owner and operator of her own small business counseling service, and assists many clients with their bookkeeping needs. Judy holds an MBA from Pace University and a BS from Fordham University.
