Visual Aids 101, with Shannon Daniels
The purpose of a visual aid is to engage your audience, reinforce your message and help simplify complex ideas. When done right, visual aids can enhance your presentation and make it memorable. When done wrong, visual aids can distract your audience and take away from your presentation. In this training session, you’ll learn how to create effective visual aids that capture your audience’s attention and leave a lasting impression.
Feel free to bring your own lunch. We’ll provide beverages and some snacks for your enjoyment.

Shannon Malkin Daniels is a fully recovered sales and marketing executive who has parlayed her corporate experience into success as an entrepreneur, author, TEDx speaker and communication coach. In 2017, Shannon founded encaptiv, an award-winning interactive presentation and sales platform that promotes audience engagement and helps presenters achieve presentation goals. Shannon has been honored as one of Fairfield County’s 40 Under Forty and is the Chair of Stamford Innovation Week. She holds a master’s in interpersonal communication from the University of Central Florida and has served on the faculty at Columbia University and Iona College.
