Waking Up White: A Conversation on Bias, Privilege and Racism

Be a part of the conversation as the YWCA Darien/Norwalk and the Darien Library, along with 20+ community partners, host a discussion via Zoom with author and educator Debbie Irving, author of Waking Up White: And Finding Myself in the Story of Race as the kickoff to a town-wide anti-racism initiative. Following the program, community members will have the opportunity to join discussion groups to explore the book and reconvene in September to discuss lessons learned and next steps.
