In this seminar, healthcare expert Anne McGuire will review the complexity of health care, share ways to maximize your insurance coverage, and show how to advocate for your benefits. Anne will cover…
-the different types of health insurance plans
-the different types of networks and how they impact your choices of care
-and the differences in coverage e.g., deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance, out of pocket maximums and benefits.
Anne will also discuss ways to be proactive with your insurance coverage; the best approach to managing medical bills and claims; how to interpret provider bills and EOBs; advise on when to pay or negotiate a bill; when and how to appeal coverage or claim denials.
She’ll briefly touch on HSAs, FSAs and RRAs, and the best ways to use them.
Attendees will leave with increased confidence about managing their healthcare coverage & needs.
