Darien Library Celebrates its 128th Anniversary with 1894 Day!

Darien Library is celebrating its 128th anniversary and Fourth Annual Day of Giving on 1894 Day, Wednesday, May 25th.

Festivities will take place in the Library courtyard throughout the day, including crafts, balloon art from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., and an ice cream truck from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

The goal is to raise $128,000 in 24 hours and each donor will receive a special gift at the following suggested contribution levels:

• $12.80: Darien Library Let’s Grow seed kit
• $128: Darien Library pop-up LED Lantern
• $1,280: Darien Library insulated tote from L.L. Bean
• $12,800: All of the above and more!
