2020 has been both a tumultuous time and also a time for reflection. Living amidst Covid-19 we have an even greater opportunity to ask – what are my values, what do I really care about and how can I share my best self.
These questions are also at the core of re-starts and career reinventions. Whether looking for a new daily focus, a new career or the next new lifestyle opportunity, the value of moving from circular (and likely negative) self-talk into action is just a few small steps away.
In this halftime, we’ll talk about the science and benefits of taking small steps and walk through two exercises to begin unearthing where your values and skills show up unconditionally as a way to set fire to 2021!
Participants will walk away with:
– Their current values and how they impact their decision-making
– Ways to identify their most valued skills
– Techniques to tell others about themselves that cuts through the clutter
– Homework to keep the discovery process going
About Sheilah:
Sheilah Crowley is a coach specifically to women asking the question, “What’s next for me?” She holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Vermont, a coaching certification from NYU, a career counseling certification from GetFive Outplacement and is ICF Certified. Sheilah spent the first part of her career working in non-profit management at City Harvest, the first and largest food rescue organization in the country based in New York City. She’s looking forward to resuming her volunteering role as a prep chef at her local soup kitchen in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY, where she live with her husband and two children.
