Strong Savvy Women is hosting a two-part talk on healthcare options and regulating hormones! It will take place on Wednesday, October 18 at 7p.m. at Hayvn, a woman centered coworking space in Darien.
The support group for single, divorced and widowed women is grateful to event sponsor Women’s Health Practitioner Isabel Bogdan, DNP, WHNP-BC. Her company belev.co specializes in bringing a transformational approach to women’s health care where women gain a spiritual connection to maintain naturally young, strong and beautiful. Bogdan will be sharing tips on managing hormones in her talk. Married friends are always welcome at our events as well!
Bogdan will be joined by Linda Stephens who created the “Midlife Mastery” program developed to help women feel confident, energetic and sexy in their own skin again. She provides lifestyle modifications to help women in the midlife space to learn how to live long, strong and healthy.
The “Healthcare & Hormones” event will also feature Anne McGuire, R.N.,CCM, who owns Healthcare Pathfinder, LLC a health and long-term care advice, advocacy and management firm. She will be speaking about how to choose healthcare options for single and divorcing women.
“One of our missions at Strong Savvy Women is to educate women and empower them to make the best choices for themselves,” said Amy Polacko, Divorce Coach and founder of the group. “So we will mix essential healthcare information with a fun and enlightening talk on hormones too!”
The event fee is $40 payable through Eventbrite. Register in advance and bring a friend – married friends are invited as well! (We encourage everyone within driving distance to attend in person but virtual tickets are available. You will be sent a Zoom link to watch the presention prior to the event.)
Strong Savvy Women providing education and support for single, divorced, divorcing or widowed women in our area. Divorce coach Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior founded the group to prevent single women from feeling alone. As a coach, she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women, no matter what stage they are at in the process.
The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, coercive control, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, advice from divorce attorneys, self-love and real estate for single women. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Fairfield County, LLC is on the group’s Advisory Board.
