FREE WINE TASTING!! July 4th “weekend” is here and tomorrow, Thursday 3-6pm we are featuring wines from Planeta Winery Vanessa from Taub Family Selections will take you through Sicily and taste through these wines for bbq season —
*Chardonnay – NOT LIKE A CALIFORNIA CHARD! This is a soft white wine supported by a tremendously refreshing acidity and slight minerality. For fan of Chablis or white Burgundy!
*Rose – Fresh, lively and fruit – reminiscent of a Sicilian summer! Floral notes like hibiscus and rose encounter hints of strawberries, blackberries and melon!
*Cerasuolo – A cornucopia of red and wild fruits – wood strawberries, mulberry and pomegranate! Complemented by pleasant spicy notes!
*Nero D’Avola – Ripe plums, cocoa and wild fruit all wrapped with a slight spiciness. Ideal companion for classic Sicilian cooking!
*Frappato – A rare and exclusive varietal! Notes of rose and candied violets with an elegant smokey tone. Big red fruit and balsamic tones as well!
