Mather Homestead – An Evening at the Mather Tavern!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Join us in the Homestead Barn, a.k.a., “The Mather Tavern,” for a night of education and fun! Pour yourself a glass of old fashioned ale, whiskey, mead or wine from our Tavern Bar and enjoy a meal of traditional tavern food, prepared by “Fine & Dandy.” During dinner, the Connecticut Historical Society will present a brief lecture: Tapping into the Past: Tavern Life in Early Connecticut.” After dinner, a bit of Tavern Trivia will test you on your knowledge of American History, American spirits and ales, and more.
