Mather Homestead Stephen Mather Junior Ranger Program

Become a Stephen Mather Junior Ranger! Come to the Mather Homestead to learn about our 63 National Parks and the role Stephen Tyng Mather played as the first director of the National Park Service. Junior Rangers will learn about the importance of conservation and how it plays a role in protecting our natural resources. Junior Rangers will receive an official Stephen Mather Junior Ranger Patch with a certificate. Recommended for kids in 3rd to 5th grade.
