We have long admired filmmakers and co-founders of The Business Of, Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein, for their incredible commitment to revolutionizing everything we thought we knew about our reproductive health through paradigm-shifting documentaries and conversations. You may know of their ground-breaking documentary The Business of Being Born (2008).

And we are THRILLED to invite the Everwell community to an Exclusive Preview of their newest film, The Business of Birth Control. This film looks at the complex relationship of hormonal contraception to women’s health and liberation. The 35-minute preview will be followed by a live Q+A with Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein. Everwell’s co-founder, Lindsay Hurty, will interview these dynamic creators by digging into their mission, their entrepreneurial vision and their body of work.

Abby and Ricki say it best: “It’s controversial to push back against the forces of the medical-industrial complex, but we are in a moment where women are seeking unbiased information and holistic, empowering forms of healthcare that are tailored to their individual needs. The more informed we are about our bodies and our choices, the more we can advocate for ourselves.”
