The work of the Chamber is mainly financed by the investments of its members. The Darien Chamber Charitable Foundation, Inc., (DCCF) is funded by our community. The DCCF is the Chamber’s fundraising arm, and a separate 501C3.

The Darien Chamber College Scholarship Program awards scholarships to two deserving high school students who either work for a Chamber member or have a family member affiliated with the Chamber. In 2021, we were proud to honor long time resident Penny Glassmeyer by naming the Chamber STEM Scholarship Award in her name.

The Darien Chamber Holiday Lights Program enables us to decorate Darien’s downtown lamp posts during the holiday season. Our festively decorated streets represent peace and hope and encourage community-wide celebrations, shopping, dining, and cultural traditions.⁠ Your support is essential to continue this tradition and spread the holiday spirit in the community.

Oktoberfest is a a fusion of community camaraderie and festive cheer that takes place in early October 10-7-25). The evening is filled with live music, traditional Oktoberfest games, and an array of authentic drinks and dishes. Participation not only strengthens the bond between local businesses and the community but fuels essential Chamber programs to strengthen our local businesses and the Chamber Charitable Foundation’s initiatives including college scholarship and our downtown holiday lights programs.
