Meet Team Zig
Captain Zig is our very own superhero imagined by our youngest daughter. Our company embodies the spirit of finding greatness inside yourself. Captain Zig's inaugural beer, Goosecake, is an easy drinking IPA that sparks the hero in us all. Captain Zig's mission is to promote everyone's inner superhero through delivery of delicious, original beer recipes.
Our Beers
- Goosecake: Easy drinking IPA enjoyed by IPA and Non IPA fans. Crisp finish that even lager drinkers enjoy. 5.5% ABV, Available all year.
- Sound Summer: Crisp and refreshing beer to be enjoyed at the beach, on a boat or at your favorite summer hangout. 5.0% ABV, Available Summer.
- Sidekick: German Style Pilsner that is crisp with a balanced hop finish. The perfect compliment to anything you are doing! 4.8% ABV, Available all year.
Community
One of Captain Zig’s key missions is to support the inner superhero in all of us. Our wish is to carry that message into our surrounding community. Therefore, a portion of every Captain Zig sale will be donated to different charities in our local community. Each charity will be specifically chosen in order that it speaks to our brand’s individual beer names. Spread the love & drink good beer!

We have been brewing for over 12 years, perfecting our personal brew recipes along the way. Based in Darien, CT, our goal has always been to create beers we can enjoy with family and friends. In 2023, we decided it was time to expand our ability to share our recipes with a larger audience. Thus, the canning process began and Captain Zig Brewing was born.
